ABOUT THE GALA

Join us at the 2nd Reliving Old Hollywood Gala in support of ovarian cancer research - it's Ottawa's Social Event of the Year! With the Canadian War Museum as the venue, special guest speakers,''red carpet paparazzi'', charity casino tables, photo booth, door prizes and more. The evening will also feature live music by Juno award-winner Tracey Brown, and the Richard Page Swingtet...you won't want to miss it. People are still raving about the last one!

Dressed to the nines, you'll feel like a Hollywood star as you stroll down the red carpet toward an unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour, and giving.

Raising awareness about ovarian cancer and its symptoms is one of the goals of the Reliving Old Hollywood Gala. To this end, we are pleased to announce that "Canada's Sweetheart", Olympic Figure Skating Silver Medalist, Elizabeth Manley will be attending and speaking at the Gala! In addition to her many other responsibilities, Elizabeth is also Ovarian Cancer Canada's (OCC) national spokesperson (www.ovariancanada.org). We are honoured that Elizabeth is taking a few hours out of her busy schedule to join us!

So join us on Saturday, September 26th, 2009, beginning at seven o'clock in the evening, at the Reliving Old Hollywood Gala in support of ovarian cancer. What an evening it will be!
